UNEDITED FILM REPORT: Helicopter flies over water, frogmen jump out and equipment is lowered on hoist; spacecraft and dye marker in water; equipment hoisted. Ship board activities: sailors work with lines and hoist bracket. Destroyer approaches and moves alongside carrier USS Kearsarge. Refueling operations. Spacecraft on Kearsarge elevator. "Sigma 7" emblem on spacecraft; inside of spacecraft. Spacecraft lowered from Kearsarge to tugboat; tugboat sends large fish up to carrier. Spacecraft on Kearsarge elevtor; tugboats arrive; spacecraft hoiste over carrier side and lowered to tug; repeat. Airplane taxis to stop, door opens, Walter Williams and Shorty Powers exit followed by cameramen and Astronauts Scott Carpenter, John Glenn, Gordon Cooper and Donald Slayton; Glenn and Virgil Grissom talk to personnel; Carpenter, Cooper and Slayton talk to personnel.
